1. What was the driving inspirat
ion for The Tales That We Tell?
I don't think we've ever had a specific inspiration for any of our recordings. It's more about an ongoing process of continuous songwriting. Most of the time we just write a song and see where it takes us rather then deciding upfront what it should sound like.
2. Can you take us through your

3. How do you guys deal with cre
Sometimes we all just need a break from writing, touring or whatever, then you just need to do something else for a while until you feel inspired again. But luckily it doesn't happen to all of us at the same time. So the work can continue one way or another.
4. What are you guys currently l
I can only speak for myself but right now I'm listening a lot to our new stuff because we're in the middle of recording new songs. But to give myself a break I just did a playlist for my friend who owns a café and here's some songs that I like.
Haim: Want You Back
Grace Jones: Pull Up To The Bumper
Cowboy Junkies: Sweet Jane
The Beatles: Michelle
Fleetwood Mac: Gypsy
Nina Simone: Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood
Elvis: Unchained Melody
Cat Power: Manhattan
5. You are about to hit the road
touring California, what are some of your go to touring looks?
Off stage I usually just wear jeans and a sweatshirt it's the most comfortable in a tour bus but on stage it's always high heals, make up and usually a dress, this time from a Swedish brand called Rodebjer.
